Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Upper KS2)

Salary: APTC 5, Points 22-25

Hours: 8-30 until 3-30 Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year

Pay: £22,506 - £24,510 pro rata (£18,590 - £20,245 per annum, actual salary)

Start date: September 2017 (an earlier start may be possible)

 

Benhurst Primary School has a fantastic opportunity for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our ambitius and rapidly improving primary school from September 2017.

We are looking for a highly committed, enthusiastic and hard-working person who has secured the HLTA status to join our caring and dedicated team to make a difference to our children's lives. We are a school with a very friendly, warm atmpsohere where children are well-behaved and motivated learners.

We are looking for a practitioner who:

  • is versatile and committed to a high standard of Learning and Teaching for all children;
  • understands the importance of AfL and uses this in their teaching;
  • effectively uses ICT to enhanced the quality of learning;
  • is thoughtful and caring and can get the best out of children;
  • is motivated and able to engage with other professionals to raise standards and enrich the curriculum;
  • enjoys their work, has a good sense of humour and is open and flexible to new ideas

We will provide you with the opportunity to work with a supportive and dedicated team in an attractive and well-resourced environment where staff members are provided with excellent CPD opportunities.

This means that this vacancy will be graded at Grade 5 at a salary range from £22,506 to £24,510 pro rata
