SENIOR MIDDAY SUPERVISOR

Salary: APTC 4, Points 18-21

Location: Scargill Infant School

Hours: 12 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

Salary: £19,917 - £21,984 pro rata (£5,488 - £6,057 per annum, actual salary)

Commencing: 5th September 2017

 

We are looking for a Senior Midday Supervisor to lead our caring team of Midday Assistants and to make lunchtime a positive and worthwhile experience for all our pupils.

The successful candidate will be expected to foster good behaviour and to encourage pupil engagement in active playtimes as well as to ensure the safety of the children.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is able to lead a team
  • is able to follow policy and procedures
  • is punctual, approachable, caring and consistent
  • has a positive outlook and can work in a calm manner at all times
  • has good organisational and communication skills

Previous experience as a Midday Assistant is essential. A first aid qualification is desirable however training will be provided.

Please note: The London Borough of Havering has undertaken a review of employee terms and conditions, which is planned to come into effect later this year.

This means that this vacancy will be graded at Grade 4 at a salary range from £19,917 to £21,984 pro rata.

However aspects of those terms and conditions (including pay) could be subject to change following implementation of proposals arising from this review.
