Admin Assistant

Salary: APTC 3, points 14-17 £18,657 - £19,623 pro rata (£13,209 - £13,893 per annum, actual salary)

Contract: Permanent

Working Pattern: Daily 8:30-3:30

Hours: 30 hours per week/39 weeks per year

DBS Check: Enhanced

We are looking for a new member for our friendly, welcoming and hardworking office team at Langtons Infant School to support the running of the school office.

As you will be the first point of contact for parents and visitors you will need to be friendly, approachable and flexible. It is essential you have excellent communication skills and present yourself in a professional manner at all times. You will need to have a good sense of humour and the ability to work under pressure, both in a team and using your own initiative.

A large part of the job will be entering and dealing with data, therefore accuracy and discretion are essential.

Minimum academic requirements are Maths and English GCSE to at least level C.

Please note: The London Borough of Havering has undertaken a review of employee terms and conditions, which is planned to come into effect later this year.

This means that this vacancy will be graded at APTC 3 at a salary range from £18,657 to £19,623 pro rata.

However aspects of those terms and conditions (including pay) could be subject to change following implementation of proposals arising from this review.
