Working Pattern: 3 days each week/Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays

Vacancy Description

We are looking for a year 1 teacher to job share on a temporary basis. The post is for 3 days per week with 2.5 days in class and one afternoon planning. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic to work and plan with other members of the year group to ensure the best outcomes for the children in their care.

We are a three form entry infant school situated in the centre of Hornchurch close to many local amenities. The school has a welcoming team spirit and our staff are friendly and hardworking. Our children are very well behaved, keen to learn and achieve good results through an exciting curriculum.

We are keen to appoint a teacher who:

  • has a love of teaching and a proven record of success in consistently teaching high quality lessons
  • has the ability to offer a creative and motivating learning environment for our happy and enthusiastic children
  • promotes learning across the curriculum and teaches with creativity and flair
  • has a firm understanding of the place of Assessment for Learning in raising standards
  • has high expectations of behaviour and achievement
