Midday Assistant

Job Title: Midday Assistant

Grade: APTC 3, point 14 (£18,657 pro rata)

Hours: Lunctimes - exact hours to be confirmed

Reports to: Head Teacher

Corbets Tey School caters for 139 students aged from 4-19 including a developing 16-19 provision with 26 students on roll. In our school, students have Moderate and Severe Learning Disabilites, Autism and social communication and interation difficulties.

The school holds Specialist Status in Communication and Interaction. The school was judged as 'Good' at the last Ofsted inspection in January 2013.

We are seeking to appoint a flexible and organised individual to assist with the lunchtime period at our 16-19 provision at Corbets Tey@The Avelon site in Rainham. The successful applicant will be required to supervise and support students during their lunchbreak under the direction of teachers/supervisors.

The successful applicant will be able to communicate and interact effectively with adults and children and be able to work both independently and support the work of a team.
