Temporary Teaching & Learning Assistant

to provide 1:1 support

Employer: Havering Schools

Location: Langtons Infant School

Salary: Grade 2, points 11-15 £18,357 - £18,396 + £687 TA Grade 2 Allowance (full time equivalent)

Actual pro rata salary incl. pro rata TA G2 allowance: £12,023.77 - £12,389.77 per annum.

Contract: Temporary

Working Pattern: 5 days each week/38 weeks per year plus 5.1 weeks holiday pay

Hours: 27.5 hours per week - 8.30am - 3.00pm

DBS Check: Enhanced

We are a three form entry Infant School close to Hornchurch town centre. We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support a child with behaviour and emotional needs whilst at Langtons Infant School.

The person we are looking for is flexible, adaptable, a good communicator and team player who has a very positive outlook and is able to forge good relationships with children, parents and staff. Previous experience with children with behaviour and emotional needs is essential.

You will have NVQ childcare qualifications as well as GCSE Maths and English (A-C) and experience of working with young children in a school setting.
