Salary: £18,357 - £18,396 pro rata (£10,537 - £10,559 per annum, actual salary)

Location: Scargill Junior School (part of the Hornchurch Academy Trust)

Contract: Permanent

Working Pattern: Part Time

Hours: 25 hours per week - 38 weeks per year. Actual working hours - 12.00pm - 5.00pm

We are a friendly school (which is part of the Hornchurch Academy Trust) and we are looking for an enthusiastic, suitably experienced person to work in our busy school office as part of a team (starting 19th Fenruary 2018).

The Assistant will be required to carry out a variety of administrative tasks. For example, to cover Reception, answer the phone, photocopying, filing and general administrative duties.

The successful applicant must be able to work flexibly and be able to priorotise tasks, whilst dealing with pupils, parents, staff and visitor enquiries.

Do you have:

Essential

- Good communication skills
- A friendly and polite manner
- Experience of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience of general office duties

Desirable

- Experience of SIMS (training will be given)
