NOR - 570 (11-16 Boys Comprehensive)

Subject Leader for PE.

Main Scale + TLR2c (£2,665)

Required for Easter 2018

We are looking to appoint a well qualified and experienced teacher of PE. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and committed teacher to lead a small, well resourced department.

PE is a popular subject with six GCSE groups in KS4 (years 9-11), and many highly successful school teams, in all the year groups. Facilities include a sports hall, mini gym, pavillion and theory classroom. There is also extensive outdoor space for football, rugby and cricket.

Royal Liberty is a small, oversubscribed 11-15 comprehensive school for boys. In February 2017 we became an Academy and joined the Success for All Multi Academy Trust with Redden Court School.

Through the Priority Schools Building programme and local authority expansion funding we will be adding an additional sports hall (January 2020) and we are planning to refurbish and reopen our 25m swimming pool within 2 years.

This post is ideal for someone seeking their first leadership position and we look forward to welcoming the right candidate to develop even further the success and profile of PE in Royal Liberty School at this exciting time.

Royal Liberty School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All adults who work at the school must share this commitment to young people.

Further details can be downloaded from our web-site www.royalliberty.org.uk or from Ms. C. Jones, Head Teachers PA at cjones@royalliberty.co.uk.

Please apply online. Should you experience any technical difficulty please contact Education HR on 01708 431636.
