We are building a team of non-teaching support staff at Olive Academies who are confident and enthusiastic about delivering alternative provision in Havering and so we are delighted to offer an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled Associated Tutor/Cover Supervisor to complement our existing team. Olive Academies places an emphasis on character development, and values developing the whole student to help prepare them for later life and the challenges and opportuntiies this may hold.

We are looking for someone who can model and encourage traits such as leadership, communication, determination, ambition, reflection, empathy and conviction.

Olive AP Academy Havering is a 64-place alternative provision working with KS3 and KS4 students who have been, or who are at risk of Permanent Exclusion and who have a range of barriers to learning including Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Our students deserve the very best, most agile and engaging teachers who have both the determination and ability to deliver high quality learning experiences at KS3 and KS4 for students, up to including GCSE and applied vocational courses.

We currently offer a range of subjects at KS3 to support learning across the curriculum as well as more therapeutic elements to best support pupils as they prepare to reintegrate to mainstream settings. At KS4 our curriculum includes core English, Maths and Science, along with Technology, Sport, Creative iMedia, Business Studies and a work-related experience as well as a developing range of alternative programmes to better prepare pupils for the next stage in their education and training.
