Bower Park Academy is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor

September 2018 or sooner if available

Grade: APTC 4 Points 18-21 £20,667 - £22,425 full time (Pro rata actual salary: £14,632 - £15,877)

Hours: 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

Bower Park is part of the Empower Academy Trust providing staff with fantastic CPD opportunities and shared practices across the Trust. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding cover supervisor who is able to cover lessons in the absence of the classroom practitioner. If you are passionate about making a difference to the life chances of our students and have ambition to help educate students then we would welcome your application.

The successful applicant will:

  • Be a committed practitioner who is able to work as part of a team
  • Have experience of working with children in a school environment for 11-16 years of age
  • Set a clear climate for learning with high expectations of behaviour
  • Good communication skills
  • Is flexible, hardworking, patient and caring.
