Administrative Officer - Required immediately

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week (8am – 4pm) 40 weeks per year

Grade: APTC 3/4 Point 14 - 21(depending on experience)

Pro Rata Salary: £16,936 - £18,983 per annum


We are seeking to appoint an Administrative Officer to support the School Business Manager and the Executive Headteacher, to co - lead and manage all aspects of administrative services at the Academy Trust. 

The successful candidate will be flexible and able to use their initiative, as well as having excellent interpersonal skills. They will be able to demonstrate strong organisational and IT skills (to include Word and Excel packages) ensuring that the operational functions of the schools are well managed. They will also possess the ability to work well within a team, contributing to the on-going development of the administrative infrastructure competently and efficiently. The main areas of responsibility will include: 

  • Attendance– all aspects of monitoring and reporting upon school attendance (experience of SIMs would be an advantage)
  • Safeguarding
  • Administrative and secretarial support to the school leadership team
  • Communications to the Rise Park schools’ community
  • The promotion of a positive public interface of the Rise Park schools from the Academy Trust office.

They will need to be organised yet adaptable, approachable but with a clear sense of direction, and able to work effectively under pressure. A first aid qualification, or willingness to undertake training for this, would be desirable.
