St Edward’s is a large thriving multi-cultural community with pupils who travel from a wide area to come to our school. Our strong Christian beliefs are reflected in the behaviour of our pupils who were described in our latest Ofsted report as “very caring, friendly and respectful towards each other”.

Our school is situated in a pleasant residential area and we are only a five minute walk from the centre of Romford, with its excellent transport links and twice weekly market.

We are setting up our own Breakfast Club and should like to recruit a flexible, well-organised person to lead a team of Breakfast Club Assistants to ensure that our pupils have a balanced breakfast and a positive start to the school day.

The Breakfast Club Supervisor’s responsibilities will include:

    • the transition of pupils from the Breakfast Club to class;

    • the supervision and support of pupils whilst they eat;

    • the promotion and supervision of positive and active play and pupil relationships;

    • pupil discipline and behaviour management;

    • ordering/purchasing of food for the Breakfast Club;
    • supervising a team of Breakfast Club Assistants.
