Teaching Assistant

Required for September 2018

Hours: 27.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

Grade: Grade 2 points 11 - 15

Salary: £19,896 - £20,136 FTE (Pro rata actual salary: £12,562 - £12,714 pa)

 

We are looking to recruit a caring and committed individual to provide support in the classroom. 

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience of working with KS1 and KS2 children
  • Have the ability to work alongside committed class teachers to enhance and support children’s learning
  • Be confident in both maths and literacy and recognise the next steps in children's learning
  • Show initiative to adapt resources
  • Have high standards and expectations
  • Be educated to a minimum grade C in GCSE maths and English or equivalent
  • Demonstrate commitment to your own professional development
  • Be committed to working in a team
  • Display a high level of enthusiasm and use their passion for Maths and/or English to inspire pupils
  • Engage on all levels and have a sense of humour.
