Lower KS2 Teacher Required for January 2019

Contract: Fixed Term - Maternity Cover

Pay Range: Band 1-2 (Points M1-6)

Dame Tipping is Havering’s village school. We have just 95 pupils on role and because of this the school has a friendly, family atmosphere. As Lower KS2 Teacher you would be teaching a vertically grouped Year 3 and 4 class. We are looking for an outstanding and enthusiastic teacher who will be committed to the children. You should be able to use assessment for learning to enable all of your class to reach their full potential, whilst making learning fun and engaging for every child. You should be supportive of the school’s Christian ethos and should strive to live up to our school motto: ‘The best that I can be’.

This post would be suitable for an experienced teacher.

At Dame Tipping we offer:

  • friendly staff who will make you feel welcome
  • a leadership team who will be there to support you
  • well-behaved and enthusiastic children who love to learn
  • a pleasant, semi-rural working environment
  • opportunities to network with colleagues in other schools

We encourage you to visit to see for yourself how special our school is. Please telephone Mrs Wakeman in the school office to arrange an appointment on 01708 745409. We look forward to meeting you.

Closing date for applications: Tuesday 25th September 2018

Interviews will take place: Monday 1st October 2018
