FACILITIES ASSISTANT

Hours: 36 hours per week/52 weeks per year

Grade: Scale APTC 3 points 14-17

Actual Salary: £20,007 - £20,472

 

The Facilities Assistant is a key member of the site team. The postholder will work alongside the Facilities Manager and other key staff in providing the school’s premises service.

  • Professional, enthusiastic and positive with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to work as an effective member of Team Sanders

We require a Facilities Assistant to join us as soon as possible, to provide and contribute to a first class premises service. The role will include a range of caretaking duties, including the security and supervision of the site. Other duties include porterage, cleaning and maintenance. The postholder will report to the Facilities Manager. You must be able to manage competing priorities, establish positive working relationships and be flexible.

In September 2018 the school joined Success for All Education Trust; a local multi academy trust comprising of three secondary schools. An inclusive community ethos and strong pupil-staff relationships underpin the school’s expectations and development.
