SCHOOL RECEPTIONIST AND ADMISSIONS OFFICER

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only)

Grade: Grade 3 Points 16-20

Salary: £15,479 - £16,645 actual pro rata salary per annum

 

Clockhouse Primary School is a large (three-form entry), popular community school situated in Collier Row. We also have a 90 place Nursery and a 10 place Additional Resource Provision.

Due to the early retirement of the current post holder the Governors of the school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and friendly School Receptionist and Admissions Officer to work with the families and staff of Clockhouse Primary School. 

We are looking to add to our team, a member of the office team who will build upon our current successes and be a part of realising our ambition to be an outstanding school. 

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Teacher and Administration team and will be required to:

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Have good communication skills in order to undertake general reception duties, and correspond effectively with people at all levels;
  • Be self-motivated, flexible and able to act on own initiative;
  • Have good organisational skills;
  • Have an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and accuracy when handling pupil information;
  • Have good literacy and numeracy skills;
  • Be able to work as part of a team.
