Subject Leader Biology

Main Scale/UPS plus TLR 2(b) £4,530

 

An experienced and well-qualified teacher is required to lead the Biology Department in this over-subscribed and popular school.

The Campion School is very well-placed in tables of local and national examination results, enjoys an excellent reputation locally, and is committed to maintaining a broad curriculum and wide range of extra-curricular activity.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach Biology to KS5 and Science/Biology at KS4. Biology is a very popular subject at A level and there are currently two sets in both Year 12 and Year 13. The school also runs a very popular triple Science course at GCSE. 100% pass rate at 5-9 in Biology GCSE and 98% pass rate at A level. AQA courses are followed at GCSE and A Level.
