We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team of SEND Keyworkers. You will work closely with subject teachers and the school SENDCO to support and guide students in their learning outcomes.

The main focus in lessons will be literacy and numeracy. In addition to in-class support, you will hold weekly one to one academic mentoring sessions with the student you key work.

You will need to be flexible and have excellent inter-personal and communication skills. You will need to demonstrate competence in supporting students within a learning environment to encourage them to achieve and make good progress.

This is an exciting time to be joining Hornchurch High School; we have an innovative curriculum that ensures students experience a wide range of subjects and opportunities in and outside of the classroom, as well as a new pastoral structure to support our students and their families. We offer excellent training and exciting links with other schools in our MAT and opportunities to develop and progress.
