SEND Teaching Assistant
Hours: 12.5 hours per week
Grade: Grade 2 points 11-15
Salary: £19,896 - £20,136 full time salary
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st August 2019
Required for February/early March 2019
We are looking to appoint a committed and experienced teaching assistant to work with pupils with Education and Health Care Plans where some time is spent working 1:1 but also, supporting other children in the class where needed.

We are looking for a teaching assistant who has at least an NVQ level 2 and ideally should have experience in the area of working with SEND pupils.
This Position requires the candidate to be:
- Proactive, well organised and willing to work collaboratively with all staff
- Able to engage and enthuse SEND pupils to participate in lessons
- Able to develop positive relationships with pupils and able to use a variety of strategies to meet individual needs
- Enthusiastic, confident and able to use their initiative
- Have good numeracy and literacy skills.
- To be patient and empathetic
- Demonstrate reliability and commitment to the school and children.
