The Royal Liberty School where “pupils are well behaved, respectful and courteous” and “parents value the sense of community, which is palpable throughout the school” (OFSTED February 2019).
Due to expansion we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher of Design Technology to join our small, friendly and supportive team. DT is a popular subject with a good uptake at GCSE. We work closely and collaboratively with our partner schools in planning and delivering the new GCSE specification.
This post would be very suitable for a newly qualified teacher looking for their first appointment, NQTs are fully supported by an induction programme delivered by the school and the Empower Alliance.
We take a collaborative view of learning where good practice is shared through a structured INSET programme.
As part of the Priority Schools Building Programme and Local Authority expansion we will be undergoing a full refurbishment of the school in 2020.
Royal Liberty School is a small comprehensive, 11-16 school for boys, located close to Gidea Park Station. We pride ourselves on our strong Sense of community and the excellent behaviour of the students. As a result of the popularity of the school we expanded by one form of entry from September 2018.
